About This Workshop

This Workshop has been designed to teach essential practices to negate these issues and help combat the effects of stress in a very simple and natural way.

It is a combination of Eye Care Yoga and the wonderful Beautifying Kriya.

This powerful combination gives you all you need to combat the problems that affect our eyes day to day such as looking at screens all day of a computer or phone. It has all you need including helping to reduce stress and balanced and keep your eyes refreshed.

PRE-REQUISITE: Must have learned ANY of the following classes before participating:

  • Surya Kriya, Surya Shakti, Yogasanas, Angamardana or FULL Upa Yoga (not taught online or in Inner Engineering)

Eye Care Yoga

These unique practises, devised by Sadhguru, are designed to have a phenomenal impact on the overall health and capabilities of the eyes. The practices can help correct eye problems, such as myopia (nearsightedness) and hyperopia (farsightedness) and strengthen the eye’s overall vision and focus; that can be maintained even into old age.

They are a very simple set of practices including body movements and practices directly for the eyes. It is a natural way to correct one’s vision without surgery or laser treatments. The eyes have a muscular structure just like any other part of the body and, depending on the situation surrounding the eyes, can be corrected naturally provided there are no other complications.

Beautifying Kriya

This is an extra practice we are including as it also has tremendous benefits for the health of your eyes as well as vision and is hugely supportive of the whole process. On top of that, Shanmukhi Mudra has other great benefits. It helps rejuvenate other parts of the face and can help with ailments in this region. Another aspect is it can help you prepare towards pratyahara or the process of turning inward by blocking off the sensory perception of the human being. It is a great support towards meditative practices as it helps to enhance one’s awareness. It is particularly beneficial for those suffering from Tinnitus or Vertigo.

Who is it Suitable For?

This course is essential for anyone who works behind a computer, at a desk, a job which requires you to sit down all day, someone who uses a smartphone a lot… pretty much anyone. Both those who have vision problems and those who don’t and want to maintain it.

If you have back or joint problems or have focus issues with your eyes including myopia and hyperopia then this is something that needs to be incorporated.

This course is a perfect course for beginners who want simple practices for the modern day stresses and problems. Especially if you don’t want to go to a full on yoga course and want something easy and straight forward then this is perfect.

Due to the nature of this practice, there are some contraindications. People who fall under any of the below categories are not eligible to participate at this time:
